Cher Savery was lured to London from Oxford by its compelling energy and unparalleled breadth of opportunity. She quickly became a vital member of Vidal Sassoon’s International Editorial and Education Teams and was introduced to the world of session work.

As well as continuing her work as a session stylist, Cher is also an Editorial Creative Director at the prestigious Aveda/Estée Lauder. Cher has collaborated with the Aveda Education Team where she’s been imbuing the next generation of hair stylists (through international seminars and demonstrations) in the UK and beyond with her individuality and progressive vision.

Cher’s work is both conceptually cool and creatively refreshing. Culturally and artistically relevant publications have caught on to Cher’s unfettered approach, utilising her talents to create hard-hitting and imaginative compositions and stories. British and US Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Glamour, Numero China, Elle, Harpers Bazaar and Interview Magazine are some of the many magazines that Cher has worked with.

Cher’s dexterous creations also extend to the realms of advertising including clients such as Burberry, Selfridges, Reiss, Vivienne Westwood, Tom Ford, Max Factor, All Saints and Triumph. Additionally Tom Ford’s successful launch of its ‘White Patchouli’ fragrance at Selfridges was led by Cher and her team.

During the award and red-carpet seasons Cher styles hair for various talents and celebrities such as Bianca Jagger, Roisin Murphy, Sophia Vergara, Carey Mulligan, Hailee Steinfeld, Christina Hendricks, Rufus Wainwright, Naomi Campbell and Jennifer Lopez.
